What a great few days at the Gaming Leaders' Summit in Madrid this week! I had the pleasure of joining a panel on Beyond the Bet: Uniting the Industry for a Sustainable Future, alongside Luis Portela de Carvalho, Eduards Jakubovs and Eugenio Álvarez Fernández, where we explored how the industry can work together to strengthen player protection. One of the key themes was the growing role of payments and Open Banking data in identifying risk earlier, and how operators can balance responsible gambling measures with a player experience. It was energising to swap ideas with such a sharp crew. It’s clear that while the safer gambling landscape is shifting, there’s some truly innovative work happening across the board to stay ahead of the curve. Super exciting times ahead at Yaspa!
