We’re excited to announce that Travis Sztainert, PhD will be joining us at Discovery 2026! Travis is the Director of Research and Education at the International Center For Responsible Gaming (ICRG). His work focuses on advancing evidence-based approaches to responsible gambling, player protection, and public health policy through large-scale research funding and global cross-sector collaboration. At the ICRG, Travis leads initiatives that bridge the gap between science, regulation, and industry practice. He has a particular interest in exploring risk and resilience, as well as the design of safer gambling environments to better protect players. At Discovery 2026, Travis will be moderating the session “What Players Hear: Rethinking Safer Gambling Communications” on April 16. Drawing on research in marketing, consumer behaviour, and responsible gambling, this session explores how players understand, and often misunderstand, safer gambling messages. Join speakers as they explore how to: design meaningful messages that resonate with players, avoid common pitfalls, and better support informed choice. Mark your calendars for Discovery 2026 – April 14-16, 2026, in Toronto. Register Now at: https://lnkd.in/gQCWaXxs #Discovery2026 #ResponsibleGambling #GamblingResearch #PlayerProtection #Neuroscience
