At the Responsible Gambling Council, we believe that effective harm prevention must be rooted in cultural understanding. This Lunar New Year, we are proud to continue our partnership with Ethnicity Matters to extend the reach of our Plan Before You Play initiative.   For many, gambling is a traditional element of Lunar New Year festivities. Our approach is about sustainable gambling spaces. By integrating the Lower-Risk Gambling Guidelines into our outreach, we provide a framework that honors community values, family, respect, and mindfulness, while offering practical tools to mitigate risk.   This initiative matters because it translates complex research into actionable, human-centered behavior change that resonates across diverse communities. By uniting industry knowledge with localized community insights, we demonstrate collaboration in action, ensuring that prevention education remains both accessible and inclusive.
